Special Cover on Konchady Shree Kashi Math – 30th September 2017.

A Special Cover was released on Konchady Shree Kashi Math, Mangaluru, to commemorate the Chaturmasa Vritha 2017 of the Matadhipathi of Shree Kashi Math Samsthan, Varanasi His Holiness Srimad Samyamindra Tirtha Swamiji along with the Sahasra Kumbhabhisheka and Prathishto Swarna Mahotsava of Lord Shree Venkataramana at Mangaluru on 30th September 2017 (Special Cover approval no. KTK/74/2017).

Commemorative Stamps on Ramayana - 22nd September 2017.

Ramayana, originally titled as Kaavyam Ramayanam Kritsnam Sitaayaas Charitham Mahat, is an ancient Indian epic poem which narrates the struggle of the divine prince Rama to rescue his wife Sita from the demon king Ravana.

The epic, traditionally ascribed to the Hindu sage Valmiki, narrates the life of Rama, the legendary prince of the Kosala Kingdom. It follows his banishment from the kingdom by his father King Dasharatha, his travels across forests in India with his wife Sita and brother Lakshmana, the kidnapping of his wife by Ravana, the demon king of Lanka, resulting in a war with him, and Rama's eventual return to Ayodhya to be crowned king.

India Post has issued a set of 11 stamps (10 stamps of Rs 5 each and one of Rs 15 ) and two miniature sheets(Rs 65) on Ramayana on 22nd September 2017. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the set of stamps at Tulsi Manas temple, Varanasi. The stamps depicts Ram Sita Wedding, Banishment of Ram, Bharat Meets Ram, Crossing the Ganga River, Ram & Jatayu, Hanuman finds Sita, Building Bridge Across Sea, Hanuman Flying with Mountain, Ram kills Ravan and The Court of Ram.

Special Cover on St. Philomena College, Puttur - 21st September 2017.

St Philomena College, Puttur, a premier educational institution of Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee in the year 2017-18. Commemorative Stamps on Diwali - India & Canada Joint Issue - 21st September 2017.

India and Canada has released their first joint stamps to celebrate the festival of Diwali on 21st September 2017.

The Canadian event to mark this collaborative release was held in Toronto on Thursday and was attended by Canada Post president and CEO Deepak Chopra, India’s high commissioner Vikas Swarup, India’s consul general in Toronto Dinesh Bhatia and Toronto mayor John Tory. A similar event was held in New Delhi and was attended by Canada’s envoy Nadir Patel and Chief Postmaster General (Delhi) LN Sharma.

Both versions of the stamp feature diyas, the traditional Diwali lamps, with fireworks in the background. Canada Post also issued a souvenir sheet having one Indian and other Canadian stamp.

Commemorative Stamps on Vulnerable Birds - 18th September 2017.

India Post issued a set of 3 Stamps and a Miniature Sheet on Vulnerable Birds on 18th September, 2017. The stamps features Nilgiri Wood Pigeon, Nilgiri Pipit and Broad Tailed Grass Warbler.

Commemorative Stamp on India and Belarus Diplomatic Relations (Joint Issue) - 12th September 2017.

The diplomatic relations between the Republic of India and the Republic of Belaru were established on 17th April, 1992. India is one of the important foreign policy partners of Belarus. In recent years trade and economic cooperation between the two countries has been intensively developing.The cooperation between Belarus and India in the fields of energy, engineering, information technology, the pharmaceutical and food industries looks promising. A sufficiently high level of development of Belarusian-Indian ties is observed in the scientific, technical, cultural and law-enforcement spheres, as well as in the sphere of education.

India and Belarus issued a joint stamp issue to commemorate 25 Years of diplomatic relations between both the countries on 12th September 2017 .

India issued stamp in denomination of Rs. 25 and a miniature sheet while Belarus issued a stamp with Face value H which is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad.
